After you book a session with La Luz Reiki, we’ll send you a confirmation email with all the details. It will include simple payment instructions. We’re here to keep things easy and clear for you.

What to Expect of Your Session

Before 

  • Hydrate & Eat Lightly: Drink water and avoid heavy meals, alcohol, or drugs 12-24 hours before.
  • Wear Comfortable Clothing: Choose loose, breathable layers and bring socks to stay warm.
  • Set an Intention: Decide your session goal (e.g., stress relief, clarity) to guide the energy.
  • Practice Relaxation: Do deep breathing or light stretches to calm your nerves.
  • Use the Restroom: Go before the session to avoid interruptions.

During 

  • Communicate: Inform your practitioner of any discomfort or specific needs (like pillows or minimal touch preferences).
  • Relax Your Body: Sit or lie comfortably; blankets and pillows may be used.
  • *Be Open to Sensations: You may feel warmth, tingling, nothing, or even fall asleep—all normal.
  • Let Go: Don't force anything; just relax and let energy flow naturally. Gently brush away recurrent thoughts. 

After

  • Take Your Time: Sit up gently, sip water, and take a few moments to re-acclimate before moving on.
  • Rest & Hydrate: Drink water and allow for a calm, restful period to help your body integrate the experience.
  • Nourish: Eat clean, wholesome foods; avoid caffeine, alcohol, and processed items.
  • Be Gentle: Listen to your body and let emotions flow without judgment.
  • Ground: Practice calming activities like gentle walks, music, or journal.

 

One session can help you relax, but 3–6 sessions are best for longer-lasting results.

*Common Sensations and Feelings

  • Mental Clarity: Many feel lighter, gaining sharper focus and a more positive outlook.
  • Deep Relaxation: A strong sense of calm, peace, and grounding is the most common result.

 

  • Tingling or Warmth: You may feel heat, tingling, or "buzzing" where the practitioner worked.
  •  Dazed Feeling: Some feel "spaced out" or sleepy, like after deep meditation.

Every experience is different. 

Some people feel changes right away, while others notice them gradually over a few days as the body adjusts.
